Precision Microbes rolls out pig product portfolio in Ireland in upcoming farmer vet meetings with Interchem Ireland in November

We have been receiving super feedback from pig farmers around our probiotic and postbiotic liquids and the results pig farmers are seeing with young piglets.

Pig farmers have been using our advanced gut stabilser in young piglets at birth and also our probiotic and postbiotic liquids in young piglets.

We now rolling out our biome-focused complementary liquid feed for sows.

In our upcoming information nights (more info below) we will be focusing on trial results, including impacts seen post-zinc removal and outcomes on the farm.

Some of that farmer feedback.

Shane Fives

Co. Waterford

We routinely use Precision Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets and Precision Microbes
Advanced Gut Stabiliser on our unit. Weaker pigs are given Precision Microbes Probiotics and
Postbiotic for Piglets after birth. At the first sign of scour, pigs are dosed with Precision Microbes
Advanced Gut Stabiliser and then given a second dose the following day. It has significantly reduced
our antibiotic usage. I would recommend Precision Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets and
Precision Microbes Advanced Gut Stabiliser to anyone wanting to improve the health of their pigs
without the use of antibiotics.

Dick Togher

Co. Roscommon

We have been using Precision Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets for the past 12 months.
We first started using the product on gilt litters but after seeing such a great response in the pigs we
now use it on every litter. We administer it for 7 days (morning & evening) and have seen a massive
improvement in pig health and performance. I would definitely recommend Precision Microbes
Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets.

Pat O Connor

Co. Cork

After discussing the challenges in the farrowing house with the Interchem Swine team and Precision
Microbes, we put together a protocol involving 2ml/pig of Precision Microbes Advanced Gut
Stabiliser at birth followed by Precision Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets through the
milk replacer. Since its addition, mortality has reduced by 50% and the incidence of scour is
significantly less. I would recommend Precision Microbes Advanced Gut Stabiliser and Precision
Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic for Piglets.

Robert Dowley

Co. Kilkenny

We have been using Precision Microbes Probiotic and Postbiotic in our sow diet for over a year.
Since its addition, creep feed intake in the farrowing house has increased while the incidence of
scour in the farrowing house has significantly reduced. You can see a very visual difference in the
pigs and I am thrilled with the results. I would highly recommend Precision Microbes Probiotic and
Postbiotics for long-term use in sow diets to pig producers looking to improve overall health and
performance on their unit.

Information nights for pig farmers and vets.

We are getting ready to roll out our biome-focused solutions to pig vets and pig farmers in the coming weeks. Working with the pig specialist team in Interchem Ireland LTD we are going to discuss a large trial that has been taking place over the last 15 months on the farm of Robert Dowly in Co Kilkenny.

We will cover a range of topics on the night

  • Vet Tommy Heffernan will discuss the science behind a biome-based approach, the gut microbiome, and the technology involved.
  • We will be reviewing the science behind a biome-based approach, the data, and the long-term feeding of microbes to sows.
  • We will discuss the data and how the farm has been progressing since the removal of Zinc.
  • We also have some interesting findings on data around salmonella and young piglet performance.
  • For more information on these upcoming meetings contact the team at Interchem Ireland.
  • Robert Dowly will also give his own practical experience of Precision Microbes during the trials.

Booking is essential for these events in Cavan (1/11/23/) and Tipperary (9/11/23)

Contact the Interchem specialist team for more details about these meetings if you would like to attend.
