Precision Moments at the Dublin Horse Show 2025 – Celebrating Horses, Champions & Conversations That Matter

The Dublin Horse Show 2025 was nothing short of spectacular. As one of the most prestigious equestrian events in Ireland – and a highlight on the UK horse calendar – it brought together horse owners, riders, showjumpers, breeders, and vets from far and wide for five unforgettable days of competition, camaraderie, and conversation.

This year’s event was a true celebration of the horse world in all its diversity – from the elegance of the showing rings to the electrifying energy of international showjumping. For us at Precision Microbes, it was also an incredible opportunity to meet so many of you face-to-face, hear your stories, and share our passion for improving horse health from the inside out.

Five Days of Energy, Expertise, and Enthusiasm

We knew the Dublin Horse Show would be busy, but the turnout at our stand exceeded all expectations. Across five full days, our team was kept on their toes – chatting, answering questions, and exchanging ideas with horse owners, competitive riders, breeders, trainers, and equine vets.

The feedback from our customers – both long-standing and new – was nothing short of inspiring. Many of you came by to share personal success stories of how Precision Microbes Complementary Feed for Horses & Foals has made a difference in your stables. We heard about shinier coats, improved behaviour, calmer temperaments, and faster recovery after competition.

It wasn’t just about the product – it was about the bigger conversation happening in the equestrian world: the link between the gut and whole-horse health.

The Gut–Skin–Coat–Behaviour Connection

One of the most engaging themes of the week was the connection between gut health, skin condition, coat shine, and even behaviour in horses.

For years, equine vets and nutritionists have emphasised that the digestive system is at the heart of a horse’s wellbeing. An optimised gut microbiome doesn’t just affect digestion – it influences the immune system, skin health, muscle recovery, and mood.

At our stand, these discussions were front and centre:

  • Gut Health & Skin Condition – Many visitors shared their experiences of seeing fewer skin irritations and improved coat texture after supporting their horse’s gut with the targeted Precision Microbes approach.
  • Shiny Coats – The visible results often speak for themselves. A healthy gut can improve nutrient absorption, leading to glossier, healthier coats – something that’s particularly important for show horses.
  • Behaviour & Temperament – A calmer, more focused horse often starts with a comfortable digestive system. Several competitive riders mentioned that their horses have been more settled and responsive since starting Precision Microbes.

It was fantastic to see how open and curious the equestrian community is about the gut–body connection, and how much interest there is in science-backed solutions that make a real difference.

Precision Microbes Complementary Feed for Horse & Foal is a vet-developed, science-led liquid formula designed to support gut health and digestion. Its unique composition specifically targets hindgut health, promoting overall wellbeing in horses and foals. Highly palatable and easy to use, it is organically certified and safe for use in competition horses, making it a trusted choice for owners and professionals alike.

Celebrating Success in the Ring – Congratulations to Our Champions

Of course, no blog about the Dublin Horse Show would be complete without celebrating the achievements of some truly talented combinations. We were delighted to see so many riders we know competing at the highest level – and two in particular deserve a very special mention.

Kathryn Smiley – Overall Connemara Champion 🏆🐴

A huge congratulations to Kathryn Smiley and her gorgeous Connemara pony for being crowned Overall Connemara Champion at the show last week!

Kathryn has been feeding Precision Microbes Complementary Feed for Horses & Foals for the past two years, and it’s been amazing to hear how it has supported their gut health and recovery. From daily comfort to peak performance in the show ring, we’re proud to have played a small part in their success.

Kathryn’s win is a testament to the dedication, training, and love that goes into producing a champion – and we couldn’t be happier for her. Thank you, Kathryn, for sharing your story and this beautiful footage with us – we love seeing our customers succeed both in the ring and at home.

Chloe Dempsey – Reserve Champion in Junior Equitation 🏆✨

We also want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chloe Dempsey on Carnhill Stormy Boy for taking Reserve Champion in the Junior Equitation class in Simmonscourt on Sunday.

Junior Equitation is about so much more than style – it’s a showcase of skill, partnership, and connection between horse and rider. Chloe and Carnhill Stormy Boy impressed the judges and the crowd alike, and we’re thrilled to celebrate their achievement.

Why the Dublin Horse Show Matters to Us

For many in the horse world, the Dublin Horse Show is not just another event – it’s the event of the year. It’s where friendships are renewed, business relationships grow, and where we can see first-hand the talent and passion that make the equestrian community so special.

For us at Precision Microbes, it’s also where we get to:

  • Connect with our customers face-to-face and hear first-hand feedback.
  • Share our science – explaining how Precision Microbes work in horses, and why they matter.
  • Learn from the professionals – vets, riders, and breeders who give us invaluable insights into the challenges they face.

Celebrate equestrian sport – because at the heart of what we do is the same love of horses that brought everyone to the show.

Looking Ahead – See You at Dublin Horse Show 2026

The buzz of the Dublin Horse Show 2025 is still fresh in our minds, but we’re already looking ahead to next year.

If you missed us this time, make sure to mark your calendar for the 2026 event. We’ll be back at the RDS, ready to welcome you to our stand for more conversations about gut health, skin and coat quality, and behaviour – and of course, to hear your success stories.

We want to thank every single person who stopped by our stand this year – whether you were an existing customer sharing results, a vet curious about the science, a breeder looking for an edge in foal development, or a competitor simply wanting to know more.

Your enthusiasm fuels our mission, and we can’t wait to keep supporting the health and performance of horses across Ireland, the UK, and further afield.

Precision Microbes – Supporting Horses from the Inside Out

Our Complementary Feed for Horses & Foals is designed to support digestive health, nutrient absorption, immune function, and recovery. Backed by science and trusted by vets, it’s become a favourite among competitive riders, breeders, and horse owners who want to give their animals the best possible care.

Whether you’re preparing for the show ring, managing the demands of training, or simply wanting your horse to look and feel their best, gut health is the foundation.

Once again – congratulations to all the competitors at the Dublin Horse Show 2025, especially our champions Kathryn Smiley and Chloe Dempsey. Thank you for inspiring us, and for reminding everyone why this sport – and this community – is so special.

We’ll see you next year for another five days of horses, champions, and unforgettable moments.
